Hemantha (or Hema) is not just a driver. He is a professional guide, friend and caretaker. During our 9-day (6th to 15th January 2023) trip through Sri Lanka which was our 1st time in this country we visited many amazing locations, had amazing experiences and learned a lot from our new friend Hema. He helped us to plan the whole trip day by day to get the most out of our time here. We were contacted on WhatsApp just before the day of arrival. When we arrived, we were conveniently greeted at the airport Arrivals by our name sign in Hema’s hands and led to our car which was very good, spacious and luxurious. We booked “Large” car option. After that we went on our way to Sigiriya to hike Pidurangala rock and see one of the most beautiful sunrises we have seen. Then we went to Kandi area, then Adam’s Peak area, after that took the train from Nuwara Eliya to Ella where we were again welcomed by Hema on platform and then after spending 2 days in Ella, we went to Yala National Park and finally arrived at our final destination in Sri Lanka tour, Mirissa to spend some relaxed days at the beach before flying back home. As we had only short preliminary route, already on the first day Hema suggested additional stops we should visit, and we are so glad for his guidance as all the suggestions were amazing. Hema also helped us to book hotels, find the best restaurants for lunch and dinner and other things. This was really an amazing experience. Additionally, our car was always sparkling clean as it was cleaned every day. Hema was also making sure we don’t forget anything in hotels, restaurants or other places by asking us if we have everything with us each time we got into our car. We choose Tour Buddy and especially Hemantha due to so many good reviews and we were not wrong about our choice. Totally recommended from our side too.

The following items are not included unless specified by the driver:

Tour Requirements

  • Minimum tour duration of 3 days.
  • Inclusive Distance 150km per day.
  • E.g. 8 days x 150km per day = 1200km total inclusive distance.

Please send a message to the driver if your tour is less than 3 days or more than the inclusive distance.
