I used Serendib Roots for 2 parts of our vacation. The booking process was simple and replies were prompt. Sihan was the organiser and Thilan the driver and they were both with us for the duration of the trip. This is a definite advantage. The van was clean and comfortable and I was glad I chose a van for the extra space it provided the 3 of us. The driving was safe.
The team were always on time.
Sihan’s English is excellent and made communication very easy. They were both very helpful and even walked all the way up Ella Rock with us and made a detour on the second trip to pick up something we had left behind at the previous stop. They made helpful recommendations for restaurants and day trips. One massive benefit was that they didn’t try and take us to any craft shops in the hope of getting a commission which can happen with some tourist drivers.
Due to the nature of our trip (repeated visitors to Sri Lanka) we probably didn’t use all their skills. I would definitely recommend them to other travelers and friends and family and use them again.
