Abbiamo trascorso gli ultimi 10 giorni di agosto 2023 in Sri Lanka. Era la nostra prima volta e volevamo cercare di vedere più cose possibili anche se il tempo era tirato. Siamo partiti da Colombo poi siamo andati a Mirissa ( passando da Galle), Ella, Kandy, Sygiria, Nilaveli, Anuradhapura e infine Negombo. È la prima volta che ci affidiamo ad un driver, nei viaggi precedenti ci spostavamo sempre autonomamente, eravamo un po’ scettici nel affidarci ad un driver ma invece è risultata la scelta più azzeccata che mai, troppi pochi giorni ed infattibile con i mezzi che ci sono in Srilanka pensare di poter vedere tutte le cose che abbiamo visto. Manjula il boss dell’agenzia ha provveduto dal momento della prenotazione ad affiancarci nella pianificazione del tour da fare e consigliare le diverse attività. Arrivati in Sri lanka ci ha affidato al driver Ranjan, un ragazzo che definirei “speciale”, tranquillo, simpatico e premuroso. Sembrava di andare in giro con un amico di vecchia data! Sempre in orario e super disponibile per riuscire ad esaudire le nostre esigenze! Ha sin da subito consigliato cosa era meglio fare e cosa evitare per non spendere inutili soldi in attività che sono pubblicizzate ma che non sarebbero state interessanti per diversi motivi. Quando ci vedeva un po’ assettati ci procurava dei king coconut per poterci rinfrescare e dissetare! Sicuramente consiglieró l’agenzia a tutti quelli che vorranno fare un viaggio in Sri lanka, Grazie davvero di tutto! E un grazie speciale va a Ranjan, spero di avere altre occasioni per rincontrarci in questa breve vita!
