There are so many drivers it’s difficult to choose but Manju stands out from the rest. Always calm, always careful Manju always made us feel safe amongst the chaos that can sometimes be a Sri Lankan road. The vehicle was immaculate, equipped with water and snacks and the WiFi gave us the chance to share our experience. While we had a rough idea of what we wanted to see Manju was receptive to our ideas but made it all work. He also took us to some places we didn’t know about, so we got the best of both worlds. He would often walk with us and where guides weren’t available, he would step up and explain to us what we were visiting.
Sri Lanka is such a beautiful and amazing place don’t hesitate to book. The beaches, the mountains, the tea plantations, the temples, the jungle and the scenery will take your breath away and the national park safaris provide endless hours of animal watching. The food was outstanding and Manju introduced us to some local delicacies we hadn’t experienced before.
It’s not often I can say this, but I would highly recommend Manju for your Sri Lankan experience.
