Recently, we went on an incredible trip to Sri Lanka that was shepherded by the wonderful Manju. He was great leading up to the trip and helped out with our itinerary. He picked us up from the airport at 2am and drove us 3 hours to Sigiriya – talk about the early bird getting the worm! Once we got to our hotel in Sigiriya, he even spoke with the manager to make sure that we got into our room quickly. During all of our stops (Kandy, Ella, Colombo) he recommended all the best hikes, things to do, and tour guides and told us what restaurants to eat at and which ones he didn’t like. Also, he is an excellent driver and handled the car safely and confidently in difficult terrain (trust us the roads can get rough). He took many wonderful candid photos of us and was always quick to share interesting facts about the country and wildlife, which we loved! For English speakers, his English is excellent, which I know was a concern of mine when booking. He made our trip so easy and stress free and really took care of anything we needed – oftentimes without having been asked. Amazing time with Manju and would recommend him to everyone!
